Genetic counseling

Genetic analyzes are accompanied by genetic counseling provided by a doctor specialized in medical genetics who informs the patient about the meaning of the analysis and the implications of the result of this analysis for the patient himself and all his family members. This consultancy phase allows the patient to decide whether or not to carry out the test.

In some cases, the results of a genetic analysis require genetic counseling with the intervention of a geneticist to communicate the results to the patient.
