Dr. Fabrizio Castiglioni graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 2002 with a final grade of 105/110.
He subsequently completed his Specialization in Urology at the University of Insubria in Varese in 2007, achieving the highest distinction (50/50).
During his training, he developed specific expertise in andrology, urology and pediatric urology, with a particular focus on the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility.
Dr. Castiglioni has extensive clinical experience in the management of couple infertility, with particular expertise in the most complex forms of male infertility, gained within highly specialized Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) centers.
Since 2017, he has been working as a Consultant Andrologist at Next Fertility ProCrea, where he is part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of male andrological and reproductive disorders.
Previously, he held the following positions:
Attending Physician in the Urology Unit and Pediatric Urology Division at “Ospedale di Circolo e Fondazione Macchi” in Varese (2013–2018);
Consultant Andrologist at San Paolo Hospital in Milan – Unit of Andrology and Assisted Reproduction (2006–2013);
Consultant Andrologist at ISES – Institute for Sterility and Sexuality, Lodovica Medical Center and Biocell Center.
Dr. Castiglioni specializes in:
diagnosis and treatment of male infertility, including severe and complex cases;
medical and surgical treatment of andrological conditions in adolescents and adults;
andrological surgery and microsurgery, with particular expertise in surgical and microsurgical sperm retrieval techniques (TESE and micro-TESE);
integrated management of the diagnostic and therapeutic pathway of infertile couples within ART centers.
Dr. Castiglioni is the author and co-author of numerous national and international scientific publications in the fields of andrology, male infertility and reproductive medicine. He is also a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and training courses.
He holds several scientific and institutional roles, including:
Member of the National Executive Board of the Italian Society of Humanized Reproduction (SIRU) for Andrology;
Andrology Representative of the Lombardy SIRU Committee;
Member of the European Academy of Andrology;
Member of the Global Andrology Forum (GAF).
He is known for his personalized clinical approach and his ability to work closely with gynecologists, biologists, embryologists and psychologists, ensuring a comprehensive and shared care pathway for couples.
